Press One For English... Social Security Destoyed by Illegals

For years, you've had to listen to an “automated phone operator” ask you to “Press One for English”, (then in Spanish) ask you to “Press Two” on your telephone; for any public utility, bank (for mortgages, credit cards or personal accounts), and each and every local, state and government entity, from the Department of Transportation to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Most companies have taken up the same position as well.

Today, where even Braille is provided for at your everyday ATM (automated teller machine) for the average, blind driver; there's been that “diversity” button of language choice to cow-tow to the Latino Community for years and years. I challenge you, throughout the normal course of your day today, to pay very close attention to the trivial things you do on a regular basis that invariably force you to choose your native language; English, that which this country was founded on, in order to proceed with whatever transaction you wish to, and I promise you one thing: you will not go the day without being faced-down with some form of this “cultural diversity” campaign in the most tedious of tasks forcing your hand at tolerance while you unwittingly (and most of the time unknowingly) give up your heritage and culture, for the sake of not being labeled a “bigot” or “racist” by another.

Hardcore Liberals love blaming and pointing the finger at the Bush Administration for just about everything these days. From the seeping borders to the nation's economy, Dems foam at the mouth to point the blame across the aisle for nearly everything that can be scrutinized. The fact is, our government is to blame for a vast majority of it, as neither Party wants to “alienate” those who've entered the country illegally, potentially losing a vast voting bloc.

Just what is it that makes some people quick to point the finger at the very country they live in? The country that provides them with the many, wonderful opportunities that no other place on Earth can, that derives such antipathy and disdain for their own people? Could it be guilt? Ideology? Ignorance?

Pro-Illegal Immigrant groups are all over the country today, and more are popping up by the second. There are churches, schools and government programs dedicated to ensuring the “compassionate assimilation” of millions of illegals into our communities; run by latinos, staffed by latinos, and full of latinos... Illegal latinos.

Let me be clear. I have nothing against immigrants who seek a better way of life, and I don't place the sole blame of having illegal immigrants in our country exclusively on the shoulders of those who sneaked in; the Government plays an integral role, ignoring the signs for decades every bit as much as calls from Constitution-Based groups like the MinuteMen Project's cries to secure the border. Big Business bears an even greater responsibility and is accountable for the problem to a greater extent. Anyone and everyone can strive for the American dream, my only concern: do it legally.

The fact is, the latino community is now the largest minority in the United States today. At a self-admitted rate of Party choice favoring Democrats by a 4:1 ratio, there's no wonder they're falling into the arms of the Social-Leftist bloc of the Democrat Party's demographic.

The sheer numbers of reported hospital birth rates in the State of California are so overwhelmingly hispanic over the past few years that its no wonder we're currently under invasion by our porous southern borders. Yes, invasion. Many haters of the current administration are quick to say our American troops, sacrificing our nation's blood and treasure for the peaceful, Democratic hope of a third-world nation (much of which was hell-bent on destroying us before deposing Saddam Hussein, by the way), are “guilty” of the same charges of “occupation” and “invasion”... Where is their concern when it comes to our own country? Do these despots, these charlatans in political office, not understand the oath they took when pledging “allegiance” and their patriotism to the United States?

Political expediency is a common theme these days; doing what's best for one's career rather than putting first the best interests of the country or the people who make it up... You'll hear about how much people care about the plight of others; but that's just an ideological position taken up by a passionate, emotional rhetoric that polarizes people. It's not to say that everyone who says they care about others doesn't really care; its to say its being done for the sake of their own power and voting influence. This serves to assist in the war on the individual, causing a divisive wedge and driving class warfare, as well as keeping others dependent on socialist-like programs that literally force the lower end of the middle class to continue to keep that constituency in power through their vote, simply to continue to receive the “token” piece of entitlement. This has proven a failed program for years, yet it continues to this day; millions dependent on their government to provide for them in return for a vote that keeps it coming.

What better program to ensure millions of people receive “entitlements” of money to keep them “dependent” on a politician's coattails than Social Security itself; a program already called for collapse within a mere 20 years. Already, hundreds of millions of legal citizens are paying their share of taxes and contributions into this failed system, with no real certainty that it will be available for them when it comes their time to retire; yet the millions of Constitutional, law-breaking illegals (whether committing another crime against this country or not once in it, is not a necessary argument for demonstrating this purpose) are all able to collect from this “government safety net” intended for it's own citizens without so much as contributing a penny... diminishing it at a faster rate than can be repaired, fixed or fathomed. Yes, it's a calamity in the making, and rarely anyone addresses the reasons why it's doom is ever-more imminent that before: the additional “taxing” of it by the illegal population...

Some say the U.S.-led war in Iraq is a mistake. Others call it a blunder, a failed policy (of administration), or simply paranoia. But there's one major oversight with the shortsightedness of these fringe demogogues: the economic cost when matched to the shrinking crisis of our pre-paid retirments.

Bank of America is a classic example of Big Business gone awry.

Some people can't wrap their head around the facts, no matter how blatantly obvious they are. Some rant and rave about what they want to see, or the subject to be; rather than deal with the real (or factual) issues presented before them. Instead, they rail on and on with their talking points, ignoring common sense, proven statistics or plain fact.

As Dave Gibson stated in his written (excerpted) article, April 7, 2008 piece:

I Believe Mr. Gibson may be onto something.

San Francisco Extends Open Arms to Illegal Aliens

The city of San Francisco will get what it deserves in due time.

The State of California, for that matter, with all of it's sanctuary cities, will soon feel the consequences for the massive illegalities it has been festering since 1989; both economically as well as criminally. Back then, ignoring Federal Immigration laws began in San Francisco, and the state as a whole hasn't looked back since. Though communities like Oakland, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Sacramento, and others don't consider themselves sanctuary cities, they certainly don't make a case for following the letter of the law.

In a not-so-shocking move to restore its place as a city of compassion, tolerance and criminal misfits, city officials are extending an open-arms welcome to illegal aliens, a.k.a. “illegal immigrants”, a.k.a. “illegal citizens”, a.k.a. “undocumented citizens”, a.k.a. “undocumented Americans”.

Ahh. The evolution of Politically-Correct, liberally-divisive appeasement. Make them feel good, accept them as equals, and give them rights like the rest of us. Like the disgraced ex-Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer (D), “The Great Crime-Fighter” himself, who hypocritically fought and jailed the criminal element of the same offense he admitted to; an illegal high-end prostitution ring - Spitzer had just last year espoused the notion of granting state driver's licenses to illegal aliens. (Reminder: this controversy was highlighted by Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's campaign debate where she flip-flopped her position on this policy, advocating Spitzer's plan, then not; all within a mere two minutes. Even her Democrat counterparts called her on the hypocrisy, rampant in the Democrat debates.)

The City of San Francisco has long touted itself as a compassionate collection of citizens, promoting gay marriages and extensive homeless, Socialist-like welfare programs. Over the past few days, the city launched a series of television and radio ads, utilizing billboards and bus signs to remind citizens of its status as a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. The price tag for the citizens, who quickly criticize anyone daring to admonish them for their militant, secular-progressive agenda, will come at a costly $83,000... and includes brochures distributed at police stations and hospitals, promising safe access to city services, regardless of residency status.

“We're inviting people to come out of the shadows and take advantage of our services,” said Newsom. He added that recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in San Francisco and the Bay Area convinced him the city needed to do more. City officials wanted to remind illegal workers that the city would not play a part in any possible discrimination they might encounter at the hands of the federal government, the Mayor said.

The ads, written in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Vietnamese – encourage illegal residents to seek services and report crimes without fear of being reported...

Now isn't that rich: a city proud of harboring law-breakers is hoping to promote the usefulness of those same criminals as law-abiding citizens.

Los Angeles officials, not recognizing itself as a sanctuary city, say police will not take part in federal immigration raids. “Our officers are not immigration officers,” said Matt Szabo, a spokesman for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich's spokesman called San Francisco's program a “tragedy.” “It's an insult to the people who waited in line and filled out forms so they would do things right,” said Tony Bell. “For them, it's a slap in the face.”

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, however, believes in barring city employees from assisting federal officials with immigration investigations or arrests. He deflected criticism by responding, “We're not trying to convince people in Los Angeles... We're trying to assist people in our own city and county.”

A man after his own heart, Newsom follows in lock-step with others like New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg; seeking a Gubernatorial position in 2010 to extend his own power and political influence. He said he hopes it will have a positive effect at shelters and psychiatric units.

Newsom acknowledged that much of the reaction to the sanctuary program has been negative, attracting even more criticism than his stand on gay marriage. “We've heard from 'The O'Reilly Factor' types,” he said. “But we're convinced that this is the right thing to do.”

With a growing crowd of skeptics questioning his motives for the various, non-conforming positions he takes, Newsom is taking a big chance in staking claim to so many controversial agendas.

Poor leadership will be the death of this once-great state, with Mayors like Gavin Newsom aspiring for even more power, both by selling himself out and corrupting his own citizens in the process... even if they're too blind to see the writing on the wall.

If they can't wake up, they get what they have coming. Turning a blind eye to the law is to invoke anarchy at the highest levels. May they be warned...
